In November 2012, the City of Turin hosted a ULI Workshop on the subject of business-friendly cities. The agenda was carefully designed to encourage discussion between senior business and city leaders on the question of what makes a city business-friendly, and what concrete steps cities can take to deliver an attractive business environment.

It aims to provide greater conceptual clarity on the subject matter and to illustrate business-friendly practices by reviewing real-world examples in the participating cities.
