The ULI Europe Young Leaders group is led by member volunteers who make up the Executive Committee:

William Riordan (Chair)

Director, Value Retail Management

Riordan has been a member of ULI since 2011 and is also a member of the European Retail & Entertainment Product Council. He has over ten years’ experience in commercial, retail, hospitality and master planned projects throughout Europe, North America and Asia for Value Retail, as well as affiliate organisations including S.D. Malkin Properties and New York Hockey Holdings, the owner of the National Hockey League’s New York Islanders.

William was appointed as Chair of ULI Young Leaders Europe for a two-year term on 1 July 2020 (view press release). He is supported by the following Executive Committee members:

Philipp Braunwalder

Real PM Ltd., UK subsidiary of Turner Construction Company

Philipp worked for Turner Construction in their Corporate Development division in New York before joining the newly acquired subsidiary Real PM, in the summer of 2020. He has taken over all aspects of business administration with a focus on growing the London based firm.

Massimiliano Carello

Head of Strategy and Asset Management at VIA Outlets

Massimiliano (Maxi) is responsible for the group’s portfolio investment and divestment decisions, as well as defining the areas of strategic focus for the group’s operations. In addition, he oversees VIA Outlets’ investor reporting, asset management and Sustainability efforts.

Andrew Dean

Investment Associate, Exeter Property Group

Andrew is responsible for underwriting investment opportunities in European logistics, with a primary focus on Central and Eastern Europe.  In addition, he holds asset management and investor reporting responsibilities.

Ronan O'Neill

Associate Capital Markets, Hines

Ronan currently works for the Hines EMEA Capital Markets Group and is responsible for raising equity from European investors for Hines products across the globe. Ronan also previously worked on the acquisitions & development team in Hines Ireland and prior to joining Hines, he worked for the real estate developer Time Equities in New York.

Alexander works at Value Retail based in the United Kingdom. He works on the Real Estate Team at Bicester Village, part of The Bicester Village Shopping Collection, focusing on strategic planning and development.

Tess Pula

ESG Manager, GLL Real Estate

Tess develops and promotes global sustainability strategy at GLL Real Estate Partners (Maquarie Group), designing pathways for buildings around the world to reach net zero carbon. At GLL, Ms. Pula managed international portfolios in Australia and Central Eastern Europe, and previously held positions at Allianz Real Estate and HR&A Advisors.

Imogen is an experienced urban planner, specialising in the relationship between infrastructure and major regeneration schemes. She is known for both developing and leading the planning strategies and programmes for multiple large-scale schemes in the UK and in North America
