ULI will be holding a number of sessions and events at MIPIM, which will take place in Cannes on 14-17 March 2017.  Below is a list of our current activities.

Emerging Trends in Real Estate®: What is the global outlook for 2017?

ULI and PwC will present the results of their annual global edition of Emerging Trends in Real Estate®.

This year’s report focuses on real estate capital flows in the context of political/economic uncertainty as well as the potential impact and implications of deglobalisation and the convergence of real estate and infrastructure into ‘real assets’.

The reports results will be presented by Lisette van Doorn, CEO of ULI Europe, and Gareth Lewis, Director at PwC. A panel discussion will follow.

Make European Cities Great Again: How to compete successfully

The EU is set to secure its role as a global economic player with Horizon 2020, a program for technology and innovation aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of European cities. “Competitive Cities” will examine European lighthouse cities and their strategies for living (affordable housing), moving (smart mobility) and working (real estate and the innovation economy). This session will be held in partnership with the Oslo Metropolitan Area.

Placemaking and Urban Regeneration in Global Cities (by invitation only)

The panel will seek to discuss the importance of placemaking, highlight opportunities and barriers to urban regeneration, share case studies from Paris and London and debate the opportunities for and benefits of better public/private sector collaboration. This session will be held in partnership with London First.
