    Evan Petkov

    Co-Founder & CEO, Optiml

    Dr. Evan Petkov is the Co-Founder & CEO of Optiml - the next generation of AI-powered software for intelligent cost and CO₂-conscious decision support for real estate management. Our ETH Zurich Spin-off enables real estate owners and consultants to generate sustainable returns with their portfolio on the pathway to Net Zero. Evan finished his PhD at ETH Zurich, with an interdisciplinary background spanning from energy engineering, product development, to policy consulting. The ambition of our start-up is of a similar breadth: to give real estate stakeholders the power to make long-term decisions amid complexity in the most cost-effective and decarbonized manner. - PhD in Management, Technology, Economics (D-MTEC) from ETH Zurich (Group for Sustainability and Technology) - MSc from Stanford University in Renewable Energy engineering. - BSc’s from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Economics and Environmental Science. - 10+ years experience in energy engineering, policy, and sustainable buildings
