    Welcome to the ULI Spain 2025 Annual Conference.

    The ULI Spain Annual Conference will take place on 13th May in Madrid, at the IE Univertity Auditorium, thanks to IE School of Architecture and Desing, main contributor of the event.

    The Conference will foster open dialogue, feature keynote presentations, and offer thought leadership sessions with real estate and urban development leaders from Spain and beyond, backed by the ULI global network of over 45,000 members. The event will bring together over 400 senior real estate professionals, developers; investors; urban planners; designers; public officers; and other market influencers united to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.

    Conference Fees

    The conference fee cover one-day programme: opening on 13th May and all including conference lunch, coffee and cocktail break.

    Important note on ULI Spain Events registration and Payment

    ULI card payment system is based in the U.S. If you experience any difficulties:

    1. Make sure to register the ULI account as a trusted account with your bank. Contact your bank and inform them that the ULI American bank account is a trusted account.
    2. Consider using digital cards from neobanks with global reach.
    3. Payment can also be made via bank transfer. Register and pay later. Select this payment method when completing your registration. You will receive an email with an invoice and payment instructions. Please state your affiliation number on the wire as a reference.

    Payment Terms for the ULI Spain Annual Conference 2025:

    - All bookings must be paid for in advance of the event 
    - Invoice payment terms strictly 30 days from the issue date of the invoice 
    - If your booking is less than 30 days before the event or payment has not been received by this date, you will be asked to settle the account  before being permitted to enter the event 
    - Please ensure that your accounts team is aware of our terms to avoid any delays to your on-site registration

           

    Cancellation/Refund Policy:       

    - Written cancellation and refund requests received at ULI at least 30 days prior to the event will be awarded a full refund minus a €50 processing fee 
    - No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received from 12 April 2025
    - Registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation who is eligible to attend. If necessary, fee adjustments will be made based on ULI membership status - Verbal requests for cancellations and refunds will not be accepted: all requests must be made in writing to [email protected]

    Andrea Carpenter

    Diversity Talks Real Estate

    Andrea Carpenter is Co-Founder and Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, and a writer and communications consultant in the property industry. As a Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, Andrea helps raise the visibility of under-represented groups in the industry through the stage and media. This includes training and other female-led initiatives through DTRE’s Women Talk Real Estate community. On the writing side, her book about the history of the modern European property industry, High Rise and Fall, was published by Routledge in September 2018. Andrea began her career as a journalist at Property Week before moving on to be editor of EuroProperty for seven years. Following this she worked for various industry bodies including the Urban Land Institute, INREV in Amsterdam, and its sister organisation ANREV in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK, she worked as Head of Marketing and Communications EMEA at CBRE Global Investors.

    Simon Chinn

    Vice President Research & Advisory Services, Urban Land Institute - Europe

    Simon is Vice President, Research & Advisory Services at the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he is responsible for managing its innovative research agenda covering the key issues shaping the future of the real estate industry including climate change and sustainability, investment and development trends and shifts in demography and technological change. Prior to joining ULI, Simon specialised in research on global cities and real estate for Grosvenor, one of the world’s largest privately-owned international property businesses. Simon’s role involved undertaking analysis on global city developments to inform the company’s long-term strategy and thinking on cities. He has undertaken major research projects on megatrends for real estate, examining topics such as urbanisation, demographic change, digital disruption and climate change. Simon also has previous experience working in urban planning, economic development and strategic consulting for the retail sector. He holds an MSc in Urban Economic Development from The Bartlett Development Planning Unit, University College London.
