As our planet continues to warm up, it is becoming clearer that The Paris Agreement is the most decisive compass for economic development. Although the built environment emits 38% of total greenhouse gas emissions, cities are also engines for innovation and can help mitigate climate change. This webinar examines The Sustainable City (TSC) in Dubai, the first net zero energy development in the region. The city operates on solar energy, recycles water and waste, promotes smarter mobility, produces food, and celebrates well-being. A recipient of more than 30 industry awards, TSC has become a global benchmark for real estate development and future cities. Diamond Developers, the mastermind behind TSC, is now replicating the model in the region and aiming to build the cities of 2050, today, in full compliance with the Paris Agreement.
