Fred Gordy is Director, OT Risk Assessment for Michael Baker International. Fred is a SmartBuilding industry expert and thought leader with over 22 years of experience in secure control system development and implementation for Fortune 500 companies throughout the US, Canada, and abroad. He is one of the first in the SmartBuilding industry to address the inherent risk that control system technology poses.
Fred has developed control system cybersecurity assessment methodologies and tools. He is currently a member of Building Cyber Security which has been building a cybersecurity framework for building control systems based on ISA/IEC 62443.
Fred has authored over 100 articles and white papers on building control cybersecurity with industry magazines and the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and Healthcare publications. In addition to publishing articles, he has been a passionate speaker and teacher on the subject of building control cybersecurity.

Simon is currently the Program Manager of the European Management Services & Operations (EMSO) team, focused on Change Management in Hines Europe. He also vice-chairs the ULI UK Innovation Council and is a member of the ULI Europe Real Estate & Technology Council. Previously, Simon worked as an Architect in leading design firms in the Middle East and Belgium before moving to the Construction Management side. Before joining Hines, Simon was heading the Real Estate & Construction Technology vertical at a Silicon Valley-based Venture Capital, Plug and Play Tech Center. In parallel, Simon is an impact-driven individual actively seeking to improve how we think, build and manage our cities. Accordingly, he is involved in several built-environment initiatives outside his time with Hines. Before being the Vice-Chair of the ULI UK Innovation Council and Advisory Member of the ULI Europe Technology and Real Estate Council, Simon sat on the Board of the CoreNet Global Young Leaders as well as on the Board of CoreNet France; Simon was the recipient of the CoreNet France “Young Leader of the Year Award” and was nominated as top-3 Global Young Leaders of 2021. He still is an actively engaged with the European NextGen Talent Taskforce organized by the London Property Alliance (CPA & WPA). Simon is a LEED BD+C, Smartscore Offices, WELL Accredited Professional, and has been directly involved in humanitarian initiatives to support Lebanon, Cuba, Haiti, North Korea and most recently Ukraine. Finally, Simon holds a Bachelor of Architecture & Design from the Lebanese American University and an MSc in Real Estate Development from IE Business School, where he was the winner of the “Young and Ambitious Mind - 2020” award among the 66,000 university alumni.
Naqash Tahir

Naqash Tahir is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate, on the global chief investment officer team. Based in London he supports efforts to continually evolve investment practices by exploring new technologies that are intended to leverage proprietary data and artificial intelligence to better inform investment decisions and improve processes. He also seeks to establish partnerships with third-party technology platforms and universities to develop solutions that can be leveraged across PGIM Real Estate. Previously, Naqash served as Head of Systems and Co-Chair Innovation for the Europe and led various technology initiatives in Asia Pacific. Naqash has been a significant contributor to the PropTech program in Europe and is a member of AREF's Technology working group and serves on INREV’s Technology committee. He is also a PropTech advisor and mentor, representing and speaking at technology events around Europe. Naqash began his career fifteen years ago developing solutions primarily for Real Estate. Naqash has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science and is currently pursuing his MBA through Cranfield University. Naqash is also the founder and chairman for ReimTech, which is a forum for the Real Estate Investment Management Technology peers across Europe.
