    Speakers

    Helene Chartier

    Hélène Chartier is the Director of Urban Planning and Design at C40 Cities, where she leads efforts to help cities accelerate the adoption of sustainable, resilient urban planning policies and design practices. Her team drives several key initiatives, including the C40 Land Use Planning Network, which helps cities integrate climate action into their masterplans and land use policies; the Green & Thriving Neighborhoods program, which works to make the 15-minute city concept a reality; and Reinventing Cities, a global competition series that fosters decarbonized, resilient urban regeneration projects and mobilize businesses, academia, and youth to accelerate sustainable urban transformation. Before joining C40, Hélène served as an advisor to Paris Mayor, Anne Hidalgo, and worked with the Paris Urbanism Agency and global consulting firm Arup. She holds a master’s degree in science and engineering from École Centrale, specializing in environment and construction. Over the past 15 years, Hélène has lived and worked in Paris, London, and New York.

    Yann Krysinski

    VP of Project Management, SOLIDEO

    A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and MIT in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Yann KRYSINSKI began his career at APIJ, in charge of several P3 design and construction contracts for the French Justice Department. In 2014, he moved to the United States where he occupied several managerial positions at Turner&Townsend and KPMG, advising both private and public clients on real estate and construction deals. In 2017, he joined SNCF Gares&Connections to supervise a large renovation and preservation program of several major high speed train stations in Paris, before joining SOLIDEO in 2020 as VP of Project Management. There he manages several operational teams in charge of the delivery of all major venues and infrastructures for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Paris 2024 construction program is unparalleled in its complexity, extremely tight schedule, and unprecedented environmental and social goals.
