They challenge us to think differently and inspire us to disrupt status quo. From pioneering offices and residential developments to cultural landmarks and technological hubs, these projects stand as proof that when we think boldly, we can create spaces that not only meet today’s needs but also anticipate tomorrow’s challenges. This initiative awards excellence, but excellence is not the end game—it’s the starting point for even greater achievements ahead. Let’s celebrate these remarkable achievements. My very best wishes to all our winners.”
Anne Kavanagh, ULI Europe Chair, said, “What a fantastic showcase of truly impactful and excellent real estate projects that are making great strides in relation to factors such as environmental sustainability and energy use, but also in terms of how they positively impact the communities that they serve. The very best of luck to all our winners as they now enter the final of the ULI Global Awards for Excellence, with the global winners announced imminently.”
Lisette van Doorn, CEO, ULI Europe, comments, “Congratulations to all our winners and thank you so much to all this year’s finalists, to everyone who entered their projects into the awards this year, and to our distinguished jury. Since its inauguration in 2020, we’ve been able to develop an impressive database of Awards for Excellence winners, which can serve as true inspiration, illustrating where the market standard should be and contributing lessons that can be learned from these exemplary urban development projects. We’re keen to feature and to share these best practices among our membership and the wider industry, and hope this will help to further elevate the market standard for transformative impact in our communities.
The five successful European projects will be automatically entered into the 2024 ULI Global Awards for Excellence, the winners of which will be announced soon.
