ULI Europe Conference Primer | Navigating a World in Flux
Understand and navigate an increasingly complex global environment - a look ahead to ULI Europe Conference

This week, hundreds of senior professionals will convene in London to explore many of the critical industry concerns currently affecting real estate. This will include a focus on the geopolitical landscape, the impact of macroeconomics on investment strategy, and capital deployment trends including on alternatives, in a high-level agenda exploring the transformation, uncertainty and complexity the industry is experiencing.

The impact of shifting geopolitical dynamics on the global landscape with provide a major focus at ULI’s flagship members event, the ULI Europe Conference, in London (16-19 June) including with a top-level opening keynote from Bronwen Maddox of Chatham House. This focus reflects how international political instability ranked as the top European industry concern in the recent ULI PwC Emerging Trends in Real Estate Global Outlook 2025.
Keynote speakers will also include Daniel Lacalle, the economist and author, who will explore macroeconomic trends, and Gideon Rachman, chief foreign affairs correspondent on the FT, who will provide an inside view of current global events, in addition to dozens of expert speakers from right across property and the built environment presenting on stage.
The conference is set to welcome around 800 real estate leaders from across Europe and the world, gathering the whole industry together, from investors, asset managers and developers to architects and public officials, whose decisions affect hundreds of billions of euros in real estate.
Over four days, the programme will also explore areas including city leadership, urban innovation and development, creative and sustainable workplaces, decarbonisation, and affordable and sustainable housing, across panels and high-level topic led forums, including for Emerging Trends, C Change for Housing and C Change. Delegates will have the opportunity to gain significant insights from experts and navigate the current challenges, but also to find out more about the emerging opportunities as well as contribute to the discussion.
Additionally, some of London’s most creative and exciting development projects will be showcased at ULI Europe Conference, with special site tours to King’s Cross, Canary Wharf, Canada Water and Covent Garden being hosted as part of the programme.
The Innovation Village will also return to ULI Europe Conference, featuring urbantech and proptech startups and scaleups focused on developing scalable solutions to the industry’s most urgent challenges, from time and cost efficiency to biodiversity, sustainable materials, circularity and other areas. To date, confirmed exhibitors on the Innovation Village will include Optiml, Lux Wall, Silk Pay, dnergy, Cross-works, Saible and Spaceform.
Finally, additional highlights will include the annual ULI European Leadership Awards, 14 European Product Council meetings, and an extended programme of forums aimed at both our Young Leaders (under 35s) and NEXT (aged 35-45) members.
