Real Estate Trends Conference 2015: Investing in Density - Concentrate or Miss Out
June 25, 2015
The Real Estate Trends Conference 2015 took place on 22nd and 23rd June at RBS in London. The event brought together 200 senior real estate leaders from across Europe and beyond to discuss key industry trends, with a main focus on issues surrounding density.
Entitled Investing in Density – Concentrate or Miss Out, the conference centred on investing in density and exploring the creative solutions necessary to cope with rapid urbanisation in European cities. Session topics included high-rise building, infrastructure investment, digital urbanity and capital markets. Conference speakers represented a wide range of organisations, including Tishman Speyer, HS2, AECOM, ARUP and Second Home.
The 2015 conference also saw the launch of Density: Drivers, Dividends and Debates, a new report on density by Greg Clark, international cities expert and ULI Europe Senior Fellow. The report makes the case for investing in density and offers an agenda for advocacy, demonstration, and public education on density issues.
