On 7 December, ULI Europe held the Charitable Trust Dinner at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London. The annual dinner raises money to fund a wide range of initiatives, from educational outreach and research to offering opportunities and scholarships to people in the early stages of their careers through ULI’s Young Leaders programme.

One initiative funded by the Charitable Trust is UrbanPlan UK, an educational programme designed to give sixth form students from diverse backgrounds a hands-on introduction to the property industry.  Dinner attendees viewed this video, which highlights the success of the programme’s inaugural year in UK schools.

In 2016, one National Council and one Product Council will be selected to receive a grant from the Charitable Trust to deliver an innovative idea or initiative linked to ULI Europe’s current themes of good density, the innovation economy, technology or city engagement.  For more information on these grants, please contact Clare Game at [email protected].
