The 18^th ULI Europe Annual Conference took place on 4 – 5 February 2014 in Paris and was attended by 570 industry leaders from around the world.

A thought provoking talk from Prof Sir Malcolm Grant, Chairman of the UK’s  NHS, was the highlight of the Leadership Dinner and helped frame ULI’s Building Healthy Places initiative for European members.

Keynote presentations from Pippa Malmgren, Founder of DRPM Group, and Prof. Colin Lizieri, Grosvenor Professor of Real Estate Finance at the University of Cambridge provided analysis on the current economic position.

There were also sessions on the prospects of recovery in southern Europe, CRE loans, healthy cities, investment opportunities in Africa and a keynote presentation from Anthony E. Malkin on retrofitting sustainable features into the Empire State Building.
