On Monday, 23 May 2016, ULI Greece gave a presentation on ULI’s mission and work at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Accounting and Finance. Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance Andrianos Tsekrekos and his students attended the presentation.
ULI Greece Chairman George Kaburopulos opened the event by welcoming the audience and introduced ULI, its mission, its activities, and its contribution in the Greek Real Estate Market. He pointed out that despite the problems Europe and Greece are facing, ULI remains a key organisation in supporting best practices in urban land development.
Mr. Antonios Papaorfanos, Member of the Executive Committee of ULI Greece, then gave a review of the property valuations sector in Europe and in Greece and emphasized how ULI is promoting the highest professional standards in the Real Estate Industry and in land use across Europe and the US.
Finally, Mr. Panagiotis Mavraganis, Member of the Executive Committee of ULI Greece, focused on urban development, the JESSICA programme, and how ULI is making a difference by collaborating with EIB and local municipalities.
The three parts of the presentation were followed by a Q and A session.
