Hines hosted a small gathering of ULI Young Leaders on 16th May for an insightful conversation with Lars Huber, Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Hines in Europe.

Lars opened the discussion with an overview of Hines, the Houston-based real estate company, highlighting the firm’s unique structure that combines real estate investment management services with long established operating platforms in 18 countries.

Reflecting upon his 18-year tenure with the firm, Lars spoke openly about his career, from his decision to go into real estate to the many different roles and responsibilities held with Hines in Germany and in the UK.  The fortunate attendees were able to benefit from his valuable career advice – highlighting the importance of making lasting relationships and understanding the various aspects of real estate investment, but at the same time, establishing a true passion for one particular area and pursuing it.
