ULI Hines Student Competition Europe 2024
Winning team announced in the 2024 ULI Hines Student Competition – Europe
A team from ESSEC Business School in France has been named the winners in the 2024 ULI Hines Student Competition – Europe. The results were announced following the challenging April 2024 final of the fifth annual pan-European competition for integrated and multidisciplinary urban regeneration, which saw six student teams from across Europe compete.
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Hines have launched the 2024 competition for university and business school students across Europe.
The competition offers eligible students the opportunity to form multidisciplinary teams and engage in a challenging exercise in responsible land use.
Working in teams of four, students are set the task of working on a challenge which tests their understanding of the core elements of real estate finance, planning, and development, as well as social and environmental issues that impact decisions around land-use and sustainable development.
The 2024 competition final will be held on 15 April 2024 as an in-person event at Hines’ new European headquarters, ‘Grainhouse’, in the vibrant Covent Garden area of London, with the winners being announced the same day.
