16:15 - 17:15 Conference session – Launch of Emerging Trends in Real Estate ®: Global Outlook 2023
In this session, ULI and PwC present the results of the 2023 Emerging Trends in Real Estate Global® report. With real estate players in ongoing price discovery mode following the continuing rise in interest rates in response to central banks trying to bring inflation down, the panel of real estate experts will discuss the current challenges and opportunities for real estate across the different regions and sectors. How does the industry cope with the limited availability of finance and is a recession still looming or has the risk largely passed? In addition, the panel will explore how to accelerate progress towards a zero-carbon built environment and the potential role carbon price can play in this respect.
