Guest Blog | Data Centres: From Climate Liability to Infrastructure Asset Leader
Data centres are among the most resource-intensive assets, yet there's an unprecedented opportunity for environmental leadership.
ULI Europe undertakes research and programming aimed at addressing the increasingly important connection between real estate development and the issues of sustainability, climate change and urban resilience, at a global, regional and local level.
Our research addresses the issues of sustainability and climate change at city, district and individual asset level, with a focus on practical application. Reports and case studies also provide invaluable information on how sustainability and energy efficiency are valued in real estate transaction terms. We focus on the practical, tangible impacts that this phenomenon is having on land use and our sector, and how the industry can respond.
We coordinate with the European Sustainability Product Council on our research and programming, and also work closely with the ULI Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate.
