In today’s globalized world, communication hubs like airports, seaports, and rail stations are more than transit points—they’re catalysts for economic growth and urban transformation.

The concept of an aerotropolis illustrates this power well: cities designed around major airports drive business, tourism, and innovation, creating interconnected urban ecosystems that support diverse industries.

One ambitious example is Poland’s Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) project. Positioned as a state-of-the-art transport hub, CPK aims to integrate air, rail, and road networks, establishing a new standard for connectivity in Central Europe. This project not only promises faster travel but is also poised to reshape surrounding regions, attracting investment, boosting employment, and setting the stage for sustainable urban and economic development.

PATRICK VERHULST, Director of Amsterdam Airport City at amsterdam inbusiness in his presentation "Amsterdam Airport City: A Blueprint for Aerotropolis Success" will highlight the Aerotropolis Concept - a visionary model for infrastructure-driven urban and economic development. On the example of The Amsterdam Airport City case study he will demonstrate how airports, businesses, and investments create thriving ecosystems.

Dr. FILIP CZERNICKI, CEO of CPK in his talk, titled “CPK Today”, will present Poland’s largest and most ambitious multimodal transportation hub under construction, Centralny Port Komunikacyjny. We will hear about key investments and investment timeline that make up the CPK Programme.

Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by JOHN BANKA, Senior Director at ARC Capital. The discussion will also be joined by ADAM PUSTELNIK, First Deputy Mayor at City of Lodz and STEFAN KRUEGER, Head of Investment Banking Poland at Goldman Sachs.
