ULI UK NEXT: Leadership Insights and Leading Skills roundtable with Marcus Hale, Founder of UNMEA

ULI UK is pleased to invite all NEXT members (aged 35-45) to a combined Leadership Insights and Leading Skills roundtable with Marcus Hale, Founder of UNMEA, in which he will address leadership questions from his unique background in real estate and performance sport. The event will be hosted on Tuesday 8 July, 8:30am, at the offices of Gowling WLG, 4 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2AU.

Marcus Hale has a multifaceted profile that blends his experiences as a real estate developer, company founder, C-suite executive, Chartered Engineer, triathlon coach, sports scientist, age-group triathlete, and marathon runner. He has spent over 25 years in global real estate development with a track record of successfully completing projects in 16 countries, including hotels, residential, retail, healthcare, education, cultural and office assets. His expertise spans all phases of the building lifecycle from concept, feasibility and planning to design, delivery and operation. He has worked across culturally different geographies, balancing the interests of varied stakeholder groups, to deliver solutions in complex situations. Marcus has also been coaching endurance sport (triathlon, cycling, and running) since 2020 and completed the British Triathlon High Performing Coach Programme (Level 3) in 2024. His other qualifications include IRONMAN coach certification and a Level 2 Award in Open Water Swimming. He holds a Certificate of Higher Education in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and has been educated at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. As an athlete he has finished fourteen middle- and full-distance triathlons, competed at the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in South Africa, and became a Six Star Finisher of the World Marathon Majors in 2023. Marcus has been involved with ULI for two decades. He was a founding member of ULI NEXT globally and served as the first European Chair, has sat on the UK National Council and European Executive Committee, and was named by Urban Land as a ‘40 under 40’ in 2016.
