A native Italian, Genova is a graduate of Politecnico di Milano. As Principal, Alessia embraces her role to elevate the luxury hospitality & lifestyle experience with sensational custom interiors, helming projects for prestigious hotels/resorts, restaurants, private clubs, ultra-luxury estates, and cruise ships. Throughout her career at Tihany Design, she has been pivotal in the success of some of the most iconic properties globally, including The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, The Four Seasons Dubai DIFC, The Grand Wailea Maui and The Mandarin Oriental Istanbul, as well as the cruise industry creating innovative design concepts for ultra-luxury Seabourn vessels. Steadfastly present with eyes on the horizon, Alessia pursues hospitality design as a domain without borders, extending to premium retail, residences and yachting. This genuine Italian food enthusiast often teams up with renowned chefs Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Richard Ekkebus, to create their signature restaurant interiors with an inviting, modern relevance.

Ms. Kawashima is a Vice President of Acquisitions at Trinity Investments. Ms. Kawashima is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of Trinity’s investment activities across Europe. Previously worked for Savills and JLL’s Hotel & Hospitality Group transacting hospitality single assets, portfolios and platforms in both Europe and Asia, with a transaction volume more than €2 billion.
