    Brook Riley

    Head of EU Affairs, ROCKWOOL Group

    Brook Riley is head of EU affairs at the ROCKWOOL Group, a world leader in sustainable insulation products. Brook has been working on building renovation, energy efficiency and climate issues at ROCKWOOL since early 2017. Before that he spent seven years at Friends of the Earth Europe, leading the organisation’s campaigns to influence the EU’s 2030 energy efficiency and climate objectives.

    Signe Kongebro

    Partner Global Design Director Urbanism, Henning Larsen

    Signe is the founder of Henning Larsen’s sustainability department. She has been a member of Henning Larsen’s management since 2008, and as partner she was most recently tasked with heading the practice’s business activities in Scandinavia, with a special focus on the Danish market. Signe is a central figure in the increasing professionalization of the company, working diligently to ensure alignment between future projects and Henning Larsen's development. She serves as the face of the practice in various respects and engages in close dialogue with public and private sector developers, potential clients and stakeholders on the development of visions. She typically helps to shape strategies rooted in the client’s core values, thereby ensuring that quality remains the decisive parameter in future projects. Signe is one of the driving forces behind the growing focus on sustainable construction in the industry. In 2015, she was appointed Adjunct Professor of Sustainable Architecture Studies at Sheffield University. She possesses extensive knowledge of sustainability in construction and resource conscious design. Signe is also at the forefront of efforts to link innovation and new knowledge with architecture, making her a highly sought-after keynote speaker and frequent contributor to the public debate through participation in Danish and international conferences. She is also a member of a number of boards and advisory boards, and a founding partner in initiatives such as REBUS Partnership and Sustainable Build.

    Monika Laudencka-Sobik

    Director, Benoy

    Monika has 25 years of professional experience with extensive UK based project design and delivery expertise. She supervised and coordinated complex multimillion developments in UK and across various European and Middle Eastern markets. She led multidisciplinary teams from project inception to completion. She enjoys team collaboration, loves the challenge of problem solving and adding value to projects and processes. Her expertise is particularly strong in retail, mixed use, transport oriented developments and urban regeneration.
