    This year the Logistics council is having a joint dinner with the Data Centres and Technology & Real Estate Product Councils. Join them at Radio Rooftop for an evening of networking with bowl food and canapes overlooking London's skyline. Address: 336-337 Strand, London WC2R 1HA. The restaurant is on the 10th floor of the ME Hotel.

    Speakers

    Jorn Peters

    Principal Strategic Planner, Greater London Authority

    Jörn has been a member of Planning Team at the Greater London Authority (GLA) since 2010. He has led on a wide range of policy areas, collaborating with local authorities within London and the wider region, and represented the GLA at public hearings. Over recent years, his focus has been on industrial land, logistics and infrastructure policies. Jörn is a qualified Town Planner from the University of Dortmund in Germany and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Before joining the GLA, he worked on strategic planning, project development and assessment at local and regional authorities, Government and European Union institutions.

    Bill Sneyd

    Chief Commercial Officer, Electron Green

    Bill Sneyd is a Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Electron Green, a leading C&I Solar Developer, with clients including Mileway, Ares, Indurent and Knight Frank Investment Management, amongst others. An engineer by training, Bill has spent almost his whole career in and around the energy sector, starting out in oil & gas at Shell in The Netherlands and USA and moving into renewables after gaining his MBA from INSEAD in 2000. He developed an early voluntary carbon emissions reduction standard while working at The CarbonNeutral Company; he co-founded HomeSun, a residential solar business which was sold to Aviva Investors and Flowgem, a water leak detection technology, which was sold to Centrica, prior to co-founding Electron Green in 2021.

    Victoria Shin

    Senior Property Development Manager, Places for London

    Victoria is a Senior Property Executive at Places for London where she is currently leading the strategic review of the industrial and logistics sector and the Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector as potential new asset classes for Places to develop and hold sites as investments. She is also the lead DM for the Grade II listed Victoria Coach Station and Places JV with Landsec on Liberty of Southwark. At Places, she was previously the Development Director for the former Crossrail over-site development site, Limmo Peninsula and she led the commercial negotiations with best-in-class developers for four Crossrail over-site developments: Farringdon West, Liverpool Street West, Tottenham Court Road West and Paddington. She also led the day-to-day management of TfL’s largest property JV with Capital and Counties to deliver the early phases of the Earls Court masterplan. Victoria graduated with a BSc in Economics (LSE), an MSc in Development (SOAS), MBA with Real Estate specialism (Bayes) and gained Executive Certificates in Sustainability Leadership (Cambridge) and Women’s Leadership (Oxford).
