Sebastian Kieć joined AFI EUROPE Poland in 2007 as CFO then was promoted to COO and in 2010 was nominated as CEO and Poland Country Manager. His main responsibilities are focused on two strategic real estate segments: office properties and residential properties, including newly developed segment of yielding residential properties. Sebastian has over 15 years experience in real estate market. Before joining AFI EUROPE Poland served as CFO in real estate company BSR EUROPE Poland, prior to this in PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and advisory department and in Coca-Cola in controlling department. Sebastian Kieć is graduated from Cracow University of Economics and is a CPA (ACCA -the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

Jacek Wesołowski has 30 years’ experience in the retail, office, and residential real estate market. Since 2016, as Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland, he has been responsible for the company's investment and development activities. He has overseen the rapid development of the Vendo Park retail park chain. He also manages Trei's retail portfolio, which includes 128 properties. Since 2019, Jacek has headed Trei Residential, which has two developments currently under construction, in Wrocław and Łódź. The two projects will deliver a total of 830 units. Further plans include developments in Poznań, its first PRS investment in Poland, and Warsaw. In total, Trei will build 1,350 apartments in these four estates. Jacek Wesołowski is an active ambassador for small retail formats. In 2019, Trei launched the first annual retail park market summary in Poland, published in cooperation with consulting companies. In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, Jacek Wesołowski was one of the initiators and representatives of the retail park owners’ community, operating in Poland, to hold talks with tenants. Negotiations were held with 38 chains and companies representing over 900 stores in more than 200 locations. The agreements reached allowed tenants to reopen their stores by the end of May 2020. Before joining Trei, Jacek worked for a number of development companies. He was responsible for the success of the first downtown shopping center KLIF in Gdynia, and followed it up with the Silesia project in Katowice and Tarasy Zamkowe in Lublin.

Tanya Kosseva-Boshova has over 20 years of experience on the commercial property market in South East Europe. She is Managing director and partner at Lion’s Head - owner and manager of quality and sustainable income producing commercial properties in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently the company manages around 235 000 sq.m. prime office space in Sofia and Bucharest. Recently the company successfully completed the development, leasing and sale of Park Lane Office Center – a superb class A office building in Sofia, Bulgaria which was sold to SAP Labs. This is the largest investment deal at the office property sector in Bulgaria for the last 3 years. In the past Mrs Kosseva-Boshova acted as partner and managing director of the largest and most successful property companies in Bulgaria – Colliers International, Landmark Property Bulgaria and European Trade Center. She is founder and Chairperson of the Association of Commercial Building Owners in Bulgaria as well as а member of the Board of Directors of Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF).

Andrea Carpenter is Co-Founder and Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, and a writer and communications consultant in the property industry. As a Director of Diversity Talks Real Estate, Andrea helps raise the visibility of under-represented groups in the industry through the stage and media. This includes training and other female-led initiatives through DTRE’s Women Talk Real Estate community. On the writing side, her book about the history of the modern European property industry, High Rise and Fall, was published by Routledge in September 2018. Andrea began her career as a journalist at Property Week before moving on to be editor of EuroProperty for seven years. Following this she worked for various industry bodies including the Urban Land Institute, INREV in Amsterdam, and its sister organisation ANREV in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK, she worked as Head of Marketing and Communications EMEA at CBRE Global Investors.

Pavel Streblov acts as Business Director at Penta Real Estate with responsibility for commercial real estate projects in the Czech Republic. His realised projects include, for example, the administrative buildings at Waltrovka, which, among other awards, won the CEEQA award for the best development project in Central and Eastern Europe. His other ongoing projects include revitalisation of the Masaryk Railway Station designed by Zaha Hadid, revitalisation of the area around the Main Railway Station with the Churchill Square administrative complex, the Smíchoff building or a large mixed-use project Nová Waltrovka. He was previously a Partner in the 3C real estate private equity fund, advisor to financial institutions and the Ministry of Finance, and also worked in JP Morgan’s debt origination department in London. Pavel is a long-term guarantor of the master’s degree course focused on real estate investment at the Charles University in Prague. He received his PhDr. title in economics at the Charles University, master’s degree in political economy at the London School of Economics and master’s degree in sustainable urban development at the University of Oxford. He is member of the RICS.

Ondrej Chybík (*1985, Brno, Czech Republic) is the co-founder of the studio Chybik+Kristof based in Prague, Brno and Bratislava. Has a strong international profile: he studied Architecture and Urban design at the Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic, at TU Graz, Austria and at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. His work was exhibited at the MoMA NYC as part of Uneven Growth exhibition. He worked at the Viennese studio, PPAG. Together with the studio he has received a number of awards, including 2019 Vanguard Award for Best Emerging Practice of The Year from Architectural Record, the Czech Grand Prix of Architecture 2020, and the European Centre for Architecture Top 40 under 40. The latest CHK's project - the Lahofer Winery had over 300 million views on social media. Currently, he teaches at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture, Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic. He taught at the Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology and he was a guest critic at many universities including Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Graduate in Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw. Deputy Mayor of Warsaw since October 2011, earlier – Director of the European Funds Department. As the Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, he performs duties of the Mayor of Warsaw supervising the work of city departments in the field of architecture and spatial planning, city and metropolitan policy, coordination of the city development strategy, investments, economic policy and innovation.

Since 2016, Katarzyna Zawodna-Bijoch is CEO at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in Central and Eastern Europe. Starting from February 2020, she has been leading the newly appointed centralized senior leadership team overseeing its commercial development operations in four countries in the CEE region. She is responsible for the company’s strategy and operations in the area of sustainable and innovative office investments in ten city markets in Central and Eastern Europe: Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Wrocław, Poznań, Łódź, Katowice, Gdańsk, Kraków. She is currently running portfolio of 450 000 sqm. Under her leadership, the CEE unit has been developing extensively, holding a leadership position among regional developers. Since 2016, the company has leased over 630 000 sqm of futureproof office space, has sold 25 buildings for over EUR 1.4 bln. She is also a member of the policy councils at UN Global Compact as well as the Civic Congress – a cross-environmental civil project promoting sustainable development in Poland.

Christopher Zeuner has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate market, including real estate advisory agencies and global investment funds. He joined 7R in 2019, and from January 2021 he is a member of the company's management board and Chief Investment Officer, responsible for 7R's expansion into new European markets.

Jens Kramer Mikkelsen (b. 1951) is Director of Urban Development in NREP. He has been a driving force in the revitalization of Copenhagen since the city’s economic low point in the 1990’s. For more than 4 decades, Jens has been engaged in the development of Copenhagen – especially in the regeneration of the former industrial harbor front. Jens is the longest sitting Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, and held the office from 1989 to 2004. From 2004 to 2011 Jens was CEO of the Copenhagen City & Port Development Company, which is a publicly owned asset corporation that develops land and urban districts and operates the port to finance infrastructure and especially the Copenhagen Metro. In 2011, Jens joined NREP as Director of Urban Development and since then he has been a part of several large-scale urban development project e.g. North Harbor a former industrial harbor and now a thriving neighborhood.

Marco Dall’Orso is an urban regeneration expert with over 20 years of C-level experience with leading public and private real estate development and asset management organizations. He is highly experienced in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments, forging extraordinary public/private alliances, designing and executing urban regeneration strategies that create sustainable social and economic progress. As Director at Marina Development Corporation (MDC) he is currently responsible for the regeneration of two distressed urban waterfronts on the Italian coast, for a total investment of approximately €500 million, an estimated socio-economic impact of a few hundred new jobs and €1.5 billion in economic activities. Before joining MDC, Marco was part of the executive team leading the €6 billion public-private partnership for the transformation of the Expo 2015 Milan site into a new-generation urban innovation district for a community of 70,000 people. Previously, he held C-level roles on €500 million mixed-use regenerations including the transformation of an abandoned movie studio into a theme park in Rome and asset management of a €1 billion commercial real estate portfolio for institutional investors. Earlier in his career he worked on real estate, infrastructure and environmental projects, providing project management, due diligence and advisory services to private and public clients in an international context. Marco started his career working on a large hydropower scheme in the Caribbean region. Marco holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Genoa, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College, London and an MBA from IMD Business school in Lausanne. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered Engineer. He is also the author of several publications, a regular speaker at conferences, a lecturer at post-grad university programs and a co-author of two books on real estate development and urban regeneration. His most recent book: Urban regeneration and real estate development – turning real estate assets into engines for sustainable social economic progress, is published by Springer.

Ron Bakker has contributed many award-winning buildings and urban design projects to major world cities and his work is widely recognized for its civic and environmental responsiveness. Ron is excited about the contribution that architecture can make to the quality of urban life and the role of new technologies in the built environment. He designed The Edge in Amsterdam and is currently working on a super high rise in Kunming, China; a Crossrail over-station development in Mayfair, London; Tree House, a tall mixed-use project in central Rotterdam; an extension to the World Trade Center in Amsterdam; and Assima, a large urban retail, residential and office project in Kuwait City. Ron is frequently invited to address academic and professional symposia and besides leading the design teams on various projects at PLP Architecture he is also in charge of PLP Labs, where he is involved in research and collaboration projects with academic institutions, government organisations and commercial clients – operating at the intersection of technology, culture and space. His book on architecture and technology, “Smart Buildings”, was published in 2020 by RIBA publishing.

Alice Charles is the lead for Urban Transformation at the World Economic Forum. She has 20 years’ experience working in the areas of cities, urban development, town planning, real estate, infrastructure, environment, climate change and public policy globally. She was previously an External Board Member of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA), Ireland from 2010 - 2020. In addition, she previously worked for the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government (now called the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government), Ireland, Dail Eireann (Irish Parliament), Jacobs and Avison Young, London, UK. She has a Masters in Global Leadership through the World Economic Forum, in conjunction with The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Cornell Tech, INSEAD, London Business School and the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a Master’s in Business Administration from University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning from Queens University Belfast and a 1st Class Honours Degree in Environmental Planning from Queen’s University Belfast. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Member of the Irish Planning Institute and a Member of the Academy of Urbanism. In 2017 she was awarded the Irish Echo 40 under 40 Award, which recognizes outstanding global contributions of Irish and Irish Americans, before reaching the age of 40. She is also a Member of the European Commission Intelligent Cities Advisory Board, a Member of the UN Habitat Stakeholder Advisory Group, a Member of the Commission for Innovation and Inclusive Growth for the City of Belfast, a Member of the Mayors' Global Council for the City of Buenos Aires, a member of the Visiting Committee of the Senseable City Lab, MIT, a Member of the Urban Leadership Council (ULC) for the Coalition for Urban Transitions, Jury Member of the WWF One Planet City Challenge and a Jury Member of the Real Play City Challenge.

As chief executive of ULI Europe, Lisette van Doorn is responsible for the development of the Institute’s activities across the region, including its renowned pan-European conferences and over 250 local meetings and events across 14 countries. She is responsible for working with ULI’s staff both locally and globally to deliver more high profile content and reports; coordinating Advisory Services panels and Urban Plan; and expanding the Institute’s thought leadership across Europe. Van Doorn joined ULI in January 2015 from LIRE, her own consultancy business, which advises international institutional real estate investors and fund managers on strategy, organisational optimisation and portfolio structuring. Prior to this, van Doorn was country manager for CBRE Global Investors where she managed a €1.6bn portfolio of assets in Italy and fund manager of two shopping centre funds (€ 1.3 billion) with assets in Spain, Portugal and Italy. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, van Doorn was founding chief executive for INREV, the European association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles for four and a half years. Van Doorn started her career at ING Investment Management, where she held account manager and assistant controller positions before being made managing director of research & strategy for ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.
