The global landscape is changing rapidly. Geopolitical tensions, economic shifts, and evolving power dynamics are quickly transforming entire sectors—especially real estate, which is increasingly affected by political risk and global economic uncertainty.
Denmark has suddenly assumed a central role in an unpredictable world—and in a Europe undergoing rapid transformation. What does this mean for capital markets and the future of real estate investment? How can the industry navigate uncertainty while making informed, strategic decisions? And how can Copenhagen, as an urban role model, lead the way in the competition among European capitals for investment and talent?
The ULI Denmark National Conference, taking place on 12 May at the 25Hours Hotel on Papirøen, will bring together leading experts and pioneers from Denmark and abroad to explore the industry’s most pressing questions and generate actionable insights.
An International Perspective
With a global DNA and a worldwide network of over 48,000 members, ULI offers a unique international perspective on the real estate industry. ULI’s first Danish flagship conference gives attendees the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, top investors, and decision-makers shaping the future of real estate—not only in Denmark but from a global perspective. Jack Renteria, Chair of ULI Denmark, emphasises the conference’s unique value:
“This is not just another real estate event. The ULI Denmark National Conference is where international expertise meets local market knowledge. We’re bringing together some of the world’s leading experts to help investors and developers understand the broader forces at play. The conference is open to everyone—come, explore, and learn how to navigate this constantly evolving environment. ULI’s goal is to bring the industry together and unite market leaders for long-lasting, transformative impact well beyond this event.”
All Eyes on Geopolitics
The keynote speaker at the conference will be Manuel Muñiz, Provost at IE University and one of Europe’s leading experts in geopolitics and economic transformation. He was the lead moderator at the most recent Munich Security Conference, and his deep knowledge of international relations and global economic trends offers key insights into the forces reshaping the global economy and their implications for business in general—and for the built environment in particular.
“Understanding the radical global changes and current driving forces is essential—not only for global leaders but also for companies that need to adapt to today’s landscape and define their future course. These forces are global, but may have even greater implications for interconnected and vulnerable economies such as those in the Nordics. This conference will give participants a strategic roadmap to navigate uncertainty and seize new opportunities.” says Muñiz.
The conference is a must for investors, developers, policymakers, and industry leaders looking to understand and anticipate the future of capital markets in a time when geopolitics and business are more interconnected than ever before.
