    Cancellation/Refund Policy
    • Written cancellation and refund requests must be received by ULI one month before the event date. A €50 processing fee will be deducted.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after 29 April 2024.
    • Registration may be transferred to another staff member from the member's organisation. A €50 transfer fee will be charged.

    Pavlos Gennimatas

    Hines Europe Ltd

    Pavlos Gennimatas joined Hines in 2016 and is currently the Managing Director of the European Living team, advising on a wide range of investment and development projects, including build-to-rent and alternative living subsectors. In his current role, he has strategically driven strong investment for the Living sector, which stands at a current GDV of €10+bn. In his previous role at Hines, Pavlos worked in the Investment Management team for a Pan-European separate account. Prior to Hines, Pavlos was the Investment and Development Director for a boutique residential developer in Greece. Pavlos holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an MBA from Cass Business School and an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Thessaly. He is also a member of RICS and the Co-Chair of the ULI Living Council.


    Evangelia Chrysikou

    University College London

    Associate Professor at the Bartlett Real Estate Institute at the School of Sustainable Construction UCL, Director of the MSc Healthcare Facilities. Medical architect (healthcare architect and medical planner) i.e., holding a PhD on psychiatric facilities from the Bartlett. Active in research having won several prestigious grants and fellowships including two Marie Curie Horizon 2020. Vice-President of the Urban Health Section, EUPHA. Member of the Board, National Accessibility Authority in Hellenic Republic by invitation from the Greek Prime Minister. Involved in consultancy and policy such as creating and delivering a series of short courses programme on healthcare planning, management and design for The Authority for Reconstruction with Changes of the Government of Peru in collaboration with Arup on behalf of the British Government , collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Health and the Centre of European Constitutional Law on new legislation regarding psychiatric facilities , co-ordinator of the Environment Section of the European Innovation Partnership on Healthy and Active Aging of the European Union and being the Co-Investigator of the Health and Built Environment work packages of the official inquiry by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on infectious diseases on the aftermath of the Princess Diamond Covid-19 outbreak. Awarded work and research in countries across Europe, Japan, the Middle East and New Zealand. Author of two books on psychiatric environments and several scientific and professional publications on healthcare environments. Accomplished speaker on multi-disciplinary and cross sector audiences, including a Ted-MED presentation and numerous TV and radio broadcastings. RIBA chartered member and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. RIBA architect founder and owner of the multi-awarded practice SynThesis Architects.


    William Johnston

    Executive Director, MicroLife Institute

    The Executive Director of the MicroLife Institute and a thought leader and innovator in the micro living world. Over the past nine years, his organization has enabled policy change and brought acceptance of micro structures in the Southeast through events, projects and advocacy. MicroLife's pilot project the Cottages on Vaughan has won the Atlanta Regional Commission Innovative Development award in 2021 as well as the Jack Kemp Excellence award in Workforce and Affordable housing in 2022.


    Thibault Weston Smith

    Co-Founder, Crayon Partners

    Thibault is the Chair of ULI Europe Young Leaders and a Co-Founder at Crayon Partners. He oversees the company’s real estate investments activities across Europe. Multi-cultural and international profile having lived in Europe, the USA and Africa, Thibault has 12+ years of experience working in real estate investment and is a startup-obsessed investor with a passion for leading, creating, collaborating, and empowering others to maximize their potential. Thibault previously worked for Realty Corporation in the UK where he was responsible for growing real estate and PropTech investments. He worked for developer and real estate owner Tishman Speyer in France and the USA, where he held various roles in acquisitions, development management, asset management, portfolio management, investor relations and innovation. Thibault worked for 14Trees based in Kenya, a housing start-up accelerating the use of construction innovations in developing economies. Thibault is the Chair of ULI Europe Young Leaders and is a Member of the RICS. He holds a Master of Science in Management Degree from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. He specialized in finance and also graduated from ESSEC’s Real Estate Chair. Thibault is a native French and English speaker and has conversational knowledge of German and Spanish.
