ULI Poland YL Happy Hour: Guide to 2024's Economy: Boom or Bust?
HAPPY HOUR is a series of online or in-person meetings for Young Leader ULI members (under 35). We meet in an informal atmosphere to re-connect with familiar friends and make new ULI connections and discuss various issues. Each meeting has a different subject.
The guest of the upcoming Happy Hour will be Piotr Bujak, Chief Economist and Head of Economic Research at PKO Bank Polski, the largest bank in Poland and one of the 50 largest banks in Europe. Piotr has been dealing with macroeconomic research and forecasting for 25 years. He has vast experience at international financial institutions and is a recognized expert in economic think-tanks.
Co-author of a few economic books and numerous articles on economy and financial markets. Regularly awarded for accuracy of economic forecasts (Consensus Economics, Focus Economics, Forbes, Parkiet, Rzeczpospolita). Awarded title of the Economist of the Year (three times in the last four years) by major Polish economic and financial newspaper Parkiet for the most accurate macroeconomic and financial market forecasts for Poland.
During the meeting, our Guest Speaker will present insights gained from his extensive career in macroeconomic research and forecasting. The focus will be on navigating the economic landscape of 2024, exploring whether it's a boom or bust scenario. Piotr will share his expertise on market signals, reactions, stories, and results, drawing on his wealth of experience.
