    Thomas Bagger

    Pandox

    18 years of experience in hospitality, working for Choice Hotels, Pandox and Meininger Hotels. Second time working for Pandox, after developing and opening Urban House in 2015, which was then leased out to Meininger Hotels. Continued as Regional Manager for Meininger Hotels for 3 years, with hotels in London, Milan & Rome, until he joined Pandox again in 2020 to manage and renovate Hotel Mayfair and Hotel TwentySeven. In 2021 Hotel was rebranded into h27 and leased out to Motel One.

    Christian Kielgast

    Partner, Nordic Hotel Consulting

    Christian Kielgast is a partner and has been an integral part of building up and expanding NHC since joining the company in 2007. The main area of activity is advising investors on hotel transactions, development projects including operator searches and contract negotiations as well as M&A advisory. Over the years, Christian has advised on hotel transactions and development projects with a combined aggregate value in excess of 3 billion EUR. Christian is based on NHC’s Copenhagen office but is active across the Nordics and coordinate cross-border clients and projects. Christian is a honors graduate from the prestigious hotel management school Ecôle Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland.

    Chris Penny

    Senior Vice President, Starwood Capital Group

    Chris Penny is a Senior Vice President in the European Hotel Asset Management team at Starwood Capital Group. He is based in Starwood Capital’s London office where he asset manages a number of the firm’s European hotel investments. In this role Mr. Penny leads the redevelopment, operational turn-around, rebranding, refinancing and disposition of a wide range of hotel real estate. Prior to joining Starwood in 2015, Mr. Penny worked at Deloitte in the real estate audit department. Mr. Penny received a BA in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and he is a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association European Chapter and currently serves as its Treasurer.

    Elena Guenther

    Group Senior Manager Development, Ruby Hotels

    Elena Guenther’s career is closely linked to the hotel industry. After growing up in the hospitality segment and gaining operational experience with Kempinski Hotels, Elena graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich with a Master in business administration and hospitality management (with a special focus on hotel development and hotel consulting). She started her real estate career with the independent hotel group Cocoon Hotels, where she was responsible for building up the development department and growing the brand in Germany and Austria. Since 2019, Elena has been working for Ruby Hotels, starting as Development Manager for Germany, UK and Irland, and later as Group Senior Manager Development, where she currently leads the expansion in Northern & Central Europe. Ruby is breaking new ground in the hotel market. With a streamlined structure and a focus on the essentials, the brand with around 38 secured projects, founded in 2013, offers a modern, affordable take on the luxury hotel experience.

    Jacob Rasin

    Vice President, Transactions, Pandox

    Jacob currently works as Senior Vice President - Transactions at Pandox, working with acquisitions and asset management. Jacob is responsible for the execution of Pandox’s M&A strategies. Jacob holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a Swiss Hotel Diploma from H.I.M.
