    Robert Bentley

    Benoy

    Robert is a skilled architect and masterplanner. He qualified from Westminster University in 2002 and joined the Benoy team in 2003, and has built over 19 years of industry experience. Robert has worked throughout the UK and Europe developing his expertise in various sectors, such as leisure, retail, residential, commercial and mixed-use. Throughout his career, Robert has worked on several notable projects in the UK to rejuvenate and modernise town and city centres. Robert’s recent work includes Queensgate Leisure Extension, Peterborough, a £30m development to enhance the shopping centre with more entertainment and dining provisions; Victoria Place in Woking, a town centre mixed use regeneration scheme due to open in 2021; and Nottingham Masterplan a mixed use scheme that creates value to the site through a large communal square found in the centre of the site.

    Kris Verhellen is CEO of the Extensa Group, with ongoing projects include larger suburban residential communities, mixed use developments and urban regeneration. Tour & Taxis (Brussels), Cloche d’Or (Luxembourg) and Bomonti (Istanbul) have become Extensa’s reference projects.

    Peter Collins

    Global Sustainability Officer, Kennedy Wilson

    Peter is President of Kennedy Wilson Europe, having previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer and preceding this Head of Ireland. Peter joined when Kennedy Wilson acquired the business of Bank of Ireland Real Estate Investment Management in June 2011. Prior to this Peter was responsible for the development of that business from 2003 and brings over thirty years of experience in the financial services and investment industry. Previously, Peter held roles with Bank of Ireland as director of Private Banking, and latterly director of Asset Management. Peter is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, having qualified with Arthur Andersen in Dublin. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Trinity College, Dublin.

    Vanessa Muscarà

    Europa Capital Partners LLP

    Vanessa joined Europa Capital as Head of Research & Strategy in September 2020. She is responsible for providing expert guidance to support Europa’s tactical and strategic business support needs. Before joining Europa Capital, Vanessa held research roles at M&G Real Estate & LaSalle Investment Management. She received an MSc in Property Development & Planning from University College London and an MEng in European Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick. Vanessa demonstrates commitment to the research community in her roles as Past Chair of the Society of Property Researchers (SPR) and member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Smart Urban Growth group, Urban Regeneration Council, Women Leadership Initiative and Content Advisory Board.

    Imogen Thompson

    Regeneration and Infrastructure

    Imogen Thompson is an experienced leader, creator and manager of planning, development, and infrastructure projects. She specialises in large-scale regeneration schemes, transit-oriented developments, and long-term strategic planning, with experience working on a range of major projects across the UK, North America, and the EU. Imogen’s innovative approach to team leadership has meant the successful delivery of complex major development projects, growth strategies, business cases for public- and private-sector investment, and public consultations. Across her career, she has led the strategic planning and approvals programmes for multi-billion pound regeneration projects, and has secured a cumulative £1 billion worth of government funding and investment in transit-oriented development bids to enable property development. Outside of her professional experience, Imogen is a keen advocate for diversity and inclusion, championing more diverse representation in the land use and infrastructure industries. Imogen is a leader in her industry, sitting on Executive Committees for national and international organisations including the Urban Land Institute and Women in Planning. She is passionate about community development, and volunteers regularly with community groups.
