Please join us on 23rd April 2024 for a breakfast event hosted by Bevan Brittan at Midlands Suite, Burlington Hotel which will offer a great networking opportunity with two experienced speakers from the industry to discuss the growth of partnership and joint venture arrangements in the residential housebuilding sector and how this is changing the traditional model of delivery through straight land acquisition or option arrangements. This approach is now delivering tens of thousands of new homes across the Country and the two speakers are heavily involved in this.

You’ll hear from:

1. Rebecca Pendlebury, Head of Office at Bevan Brittan, Birmingham. Becky is a property development Partner who has advised a range of clients, particularly those in the public sector, on their development schemes for over 15 years. Becky will talk about the different options available to public sector landowners who are looking for ways to maximise their returns whilst wanting to ensure that their non-financial objectives (for example around design, social value and sustainability) can be met.

2. Phil McHugh, Regional Managing Director for Vistry Partnerships North West Midlands based at Wolverhampton. Phil has worked within the Housebuilding / Partnerships sector for 15 years. He has a track record of multi tenure delivery of the highest standards with a real focus for delivering at pace. Phil has worked for Countryside / Vistry Partnerships in the North West, East and West Midlands working on inner city high rise schemes, various brown field regeneration and many large green field sites. Phil leads a highly skilled and experienced team at Wolverhampton and headed up the bid process that was successful for Vistry to enter the Develop Warwickshire JV in December 2022.
