The purpose of the programme is to:

• Learn from and about the respective cities
  • Urban challenges / existing planning policies
  • Distinctive projects & actors in the local markets

• Have a concrete positive impact on the sustainable development of the
  local urban planning and property industries through:
  • Exchange of expertise of local stakeholders (ULI members, local
    players, public sector, etc.) from the respective cities
  • Experience and best-practices sharing (project- or career-related)
  • Inter-cultural exchange between young professionals
• Enhance the experience of local young leader members by offering a
  unique pan-European programme

Throughout the year, the Sister Cities will organise joint events (virtual and in-person) and share what is going on in their own city: urban planning case study, distinctive architecture, new regulations impacting construction or management of real estate operations etc.

The two-year’s pilot (2023-2024) will see 14 cities taking part to the initiative:

Each city is represented by one or two local city ambassadors who will help organise the exchanges.
