The ULI Greece Young Leaders group organised an educational tour of the Smart Park and the McArthur Glen Designers Outlet on 22nd May, 2015.

Smart Park (54,000 sq.m.) is the first and largest hybrid retail park in Greece and McArthur Glen is the first and largest designer outlet in Greece with more than 110 shops.

The event began with a presentation from the General Manager and Project Manager of the Smart Park, who addressed issues such as retail concept, floor layout, design, tenant mix, rent strategy, catchment area, and sales vs. footfall.  In addition, there was a brief summary on McArthur Glen, followed by a discussion on synergies and differences between the two retail parks.

A tour of both retail parks followed the presentations.
