The ULI Poland Business Mixer took place on 20 September 2017 at Koszyki Market Hall (Hala Koszyki) in Warsaw.
The choice of venue wasn’t accidental. Dating back to 1909, Hala Koszyki is firmly entrenched in the Warsaw centre’s landscape and atmosphere. Following a revitalisation, it features the original Art Nouveau façade and a functional complex with a total of 37 restaurants, cafés and other service units. Launched in 2016, Hala Koszyki has become a centre of urban social life, appealing to Warsaw residents, tourists, and business visitors.
The evening gave attendees the opportunity to network and hear some interesting presentations. John Banka, Chairman of ULI Poland, said few words about the council’s plans for the next year. He announced the new “Places & Spaces” project, which will kick off 2018.
Małgorzata Turek, the CEO of Griffin Premium RE (which owns Hala Koszyki), welcomed everybody as a host and said few words about a development story of the unique and vibrant development. Mateusz Świętorzecki, Associate at Jems Architekci, led a tour of Hala Koszyki, giving participants an inside look at the development’s regeneration process.
ULI Poland would like to thank its partners – Griffin Real Estate, EPP and REAS – for making this event possible.
