The Urban Land Institute is a global non-profit education and research institute supported by its members. Its mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the Institute has almost 40,000 members in 82 countries representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines.
ULI has been active in Europe since the early 1990s and today we have over 2,600 members across 27 different countries. ULI Europe has a particularly strong presence in the major European real estate markets of the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands but is also active in emerging markets such as Turkey and Poland.
A Message from Olga Arkhangelskaya, ULI Russia Chair
ULI Russia has been active in the Russian real estate market for over 10 years, during which it has been a significant influence on the local real estate and urban development market. Effective and proper development of urban spaces is now a top priority for Russian cities, towns and territories. With its access and exposure to worldwide knowledge and experience as well as contacts with leading professionals in this sphere, ULI can offer the Russian market solutions form the world’s leading experts.
ULI Russia holds regular events on topical issues relevant to the urban society, organises property tours of high-tech and conceptual sites, and has served as a partner of the Moscow Urban Forum. The ULI Russia summer and winter cocktail events have proven very popular and attract a high number of top professionals in real estate and urban development.
ULI Russia’s plans for the near future include further expansion of activities and presence; including introduction of educational programmes, widening the scope of conferences and round table events, and enhancing our access to the global ULI resources.
