Recap: ULI Europe Real Estate Forum 2019
The ULI Europe Real Estate Forum 2019 took place in Copenhagen (18–20 June) bringing together more than 200 real estate professionals over the three days, to address topical issues facing the real estate industry. A full programme of Product Council events was followed by a prestigious Member Dinner at the Langelinie Pavillonen with guest speaker, Bruce Katz, who co-led the Obama administration’s housing and urban transition team.
The main Forum sessions took place in one of the most sustainable buildings in Scandinavia – UN City, Copenhagen – and featured international thought-leaders from the world of real estate, including eminent Danish architect, Jan Gehl, who signed copies of his book, Cities for People.
ULI Technology and Real Estate Product Council Launched
ULI Europe has launched an eighth Product Council, focusing on Technology and Real Estate, which is designed for industry leaders to meet, exchange ideas, share best practice and foster thought leadership. June has been a busy month for ULI Europe’s Advisory Services programme. A two-day Advisory Services Workshop took place in Glasgow to review its City Centre Strategy, and a five-day Advisory Services Panel met in Dublin to advise the council on city regeneration. ULI U.K. has launched an Urban Technology Framework to help cities advance into the next generation, identifying 12 current trends that will shape metropolitan hubs.
