On 4th June, ULI Portugal arranged the visit of an international group of academics from Cambridge University at the new facilities of EDP in Lisbon. The group’s leader was Professor Emeritus Douglas Crawford-Brown, Director of the Cambridge Centre for Climate Change.
EDP is among the three largest companies in Portugal and is the national energy provider. Its new building will open August. The tour was led by an architect from Aires Mateus Architecture, the firm in charge of the project. Attendees learned about the building’s unique features, including the creation of a large public space facing the river.
